Our Artistic Focus for this piece:

1. Steady Beat - There is no other focus. We are only concerned in this recording with section playing its' part precisely and on the common steady beat.

Think of it this way. Each part (Violin I, Violin II, Violin III, Viola and Cello) is a puzzle piece, and each piece can only fit together using the same steady beat.

Directions: Listen to the recording, following along in your music. For each time your section doesn't fit with the rest of the orchestra, mark off five points.
